Ilam Walking with the National Trust!

Join our partners at the National Trust in Ilam Park for their monthly Relaxed Ramble – held on the FIRST WEDNESDAY of the month, from 10:00-12:00. These gentle walks are completely FREE to take part in!

Their experienced guides will lead you on a gentle amble through the beautiful White Peak countryside for up to two hours. Whether you’d like to build confidence walking, boost your health and fitness, or support your mental wellbeing, these regular, friendly group walks could be ideal for you.

The walks offer a relaxed and welcoming experience, giving you the chance to enjoy nature and its proven benefits for both physical and mental health. Please note that, due to the natural landscape of the Manifold Valley, the route includes some inclines and stile crossings, so a basic level of fitness may be required.

At the end of the walk, you can enjoy free tea and coffee in the Coach House when you return to the Ilam Park Stable Yard.

There is no charge for these walks and they are open to both National Trust members and non-members.

Free car parking is included for these social walks. Please visit the Welcome Hut on arrival to collect a parking pass.
